FLORIDA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ENDORSES BOGDANOFF

Representative Ellyn Bogdanoff Endorsed by the Florida Chamber of Commerce

Bogdanoff lands another major endorsement with the backing of Florida’s largest business advocate

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

District 25, Fla.- Today, the campaign of Ellyn Bogdanoff, candidate for State Senate, District 25, announced the endorsement of the Florida Chamber of Commerce, the state’s largest business advocate representing more than 139,000 employers. The endorsement reflects Representative Bogdanoff’s pro-jobs position and continued support of issues that encourage and drive economic growth.

“Representative Bogdanoff is a forward-thinking leader who advocates for more jobs for Floridians and a healthy business environment,” said Mark A. Wilson, President and CEO of the Florida Chamber of Commerce CCE. “We are encouraging the business community to vigorously support her candidacy.”

The Florida Chamber of Commerce is the State’s largest federation of employers, chambers of commerce and associations. The Florida Chamber CCE works within all branches of government to effect those changes set forth in the annual Florida Business Agenda, and which are seen as critical to the continued improvement of Florida’s business environment.

During the 2008 elections, more than 90% of Chamber supported candidates were elected to office.

About Ellyn Bogdanoff for State Senate:

Representative Ellyn Bogdanoff was first elected in 2004 to represent House District 91 and most recently was selected by House speaker Larry Cretul to serve as chair of the Finance and Tax Council. Born and raised in South Florida, Ellyn attended Broward and Palm Beach County public schools, and after graduating Palm Beach Gardens High, attended and graduated from the University of Florida. She later earned a law degree from Nova Southeastern University and is a member of the Florida Bar. She has been a business owner for over 25 years and has lived in Senate Distict 25 for 30 years. Ellyn, her husband, and their three children live in Fort Lauderdale, where she is a practicing attorney, has been a foster parent, and currently serves as a licensed Guardian Ad Litem.
